Thank you for sharing this information about the advancements that have been made in HIV prevention research, as well as this assurance that there is an ongoing commitment to continuing research on a broad range of prevention methods. As we know there are large disparities in the impact of HIV here in the United States. Information and updates about the HIV prevention research that the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN) is conducting in the United States can be found by following us on Twitter @US_HIV_Prev and by searching US_HIV_Prev and becoming a fan on Facebook.
The HPTN’s domestic agenda focuses on exploring innovative contributions to a reduction in the HIV rates among disproportionately impacted United States communities. A new website for one of those research projects, HPTN 061 (also known as the BROTHERS Study), was recently launched. Please visit http://www.BlackMenStandTogether.org and share this link. We welcome opportunities to have the link posted in blogs, on twitter, in newsletters and anywhere else that would let men who may be interested in the study know how they can become involved.
