Greater Than AIDS Campaign’s “Deciding Moments”

Greater Than AIDS, a campaign to respond to the AIDS crisis with a focus on African American communities in the U.S., recently launched the next phase of its national media campaign, Deciding Moments.

The campaign is using a variety of traditional and new media tools such as videos and social networking sites (like Facebook Exit Disclaimer and Twitter Exit Disclaimer) to share real-life stories of people from across the country to promote HIV testing, using protection, correct misinformation, and support treatment adherence.

  1. I think it’s very important that people are informed of the dangers of the AIDS disease. This campaign is a great way to make people aware of AIDS and I feel it would really promote the idea of being tested and being protected.
