		<description><![CDATA[Very glad to hear about this award. I admit that I find it ironic and poignant and somewhat angering that Howard University is receiving funding for HIV/AIDS care. It was through her care at HUH that my mother acquired the virus more than twenty years ago. Not only did they not have resources in place, they refused to even take responsibility for their malpractice. Not even an apology. I am now working in the field. But stuff like this haunts you forever...
