Thank you so much Ms. Jarrett, President Obama and government agencies on the forefront of helping us in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
I am an HIV/AIDS & substance abuse prevention outreach worker in Detroit, working with WOMEN AGE 50 and older (through a federal/SAMHSA grant).
Yesterday I performed 12 OraQuick rapid HIV tests in 4 hours - the majority of the people I tested were seniors! I was ecstatic! And I was extremely proud of all 12 of the individuals who stepped up to be tested. And more were willing to be tested but my time ran out.
I am gratified by the work I do. And we recognize your support and commitment are PRECEDENT-setting and very much appreciated.
I believe I'm making a LIFE SAVING DIFFERENCE, one woman/one person at a time. And yesterday I made a DIFFERENCE in 12 lives!!!
All the best to you and know that your commitment is seen.
Sincerely,
N.G.
