One Year: The Affordable Care Act

HealthCare.gov: Take health care into your own hands.

A year ago this week, President Obama signed the landmark Affordable Care Act into law.  In just one year, the Affordable Care Act has already given Americans more freedom and control over their health care choices. The Affordable Care Act is working to lower health care costs for families and businesses. It also is working to make access to the health insurance system fairer – now health coverage is more secure and Americans have more options.     We need phone numbers where people can call to get information about access to the Health System. In my experience, there are many who do not have access to the internet or can not afford a computer.
    I would like a few phone numbers to give people in Missouri or Kansas to help them get information.

    Explain how the mandated insurance requirement & the mandate that medical insurance cannot be denied due to pre-existing conditions are inseparable in The Affordable Care Act. Must not the US Supreme Court consider the mandate for health insurance & pre-existing mandate as 2 parts of one unified provision?
