  3. That’s it!

Your photo is then uploaded to the Facing.AIDS.gov site and you have the option of sharing it on Facebook and Twitter. In a matter of minutes a photo can be taken, annotated, uploaded and shared. If you are an Android or other smartphone user, you can still upload photos from your mobile device using the Facing.AIDS.gov site.

Facing AIDS was launched for World AIDS Day in 2008 to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.  According to the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, “The stigma associated with HIV remains extremely high and fear of discrimination causes some Americans to avoid learning their HIV status, disclosing their status, or accessing medical care.”

If you’re at AIDS 2012 , stop by the CDC NPIN Booth (#43) to participate in Facing AIDS and their new campaign Let’s Stop HIV Together.
