After an energizing experience as a volunteer at the XIX International AIDS Conference, I was pleased to participate at NCHCMM as one of “Sexual Health in the Digital Age” panelist. It is always exciting to hear about the innovative ways that new media is being used to engage various targeted populations. I was thrilled for the opportunity to present information about Community HIV/AIDS Resource Exchange (CHARE Project).

NCHCMM was indeed another energizing experience for me. Yes, three years after my “first” tweet and podcast guided by AIDS.gov experts, I am still hooked on new media. Now it’s time to get ready for National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day (NHAAAD) and National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) in real life and the 3D virtual worlds of Kitely and Second Life. Hope to see you in-world!
