NIH’s Dr. Carl Dieffenbach Shares Final Highlights from CROI 2014

Carl and Ron blog 160x120As the 2014 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) Exit Disclaimer drew to a close in Boston, Dr. Ron Valdiserri asked National Institutes of Health’s Dr. Carl Dieffenbach to share some final thoughts on highlights of the scientific advances presented there and how they will support efforts to improve outcomes along the HIV continuum of care.

In their brief video conversation below, Dr. Dieffenbach highlights major advances in curing hepatitis C, innovations in HIV therapy, and news that may inform ongoing work to find an HIV cure.
