Scientific Advances in HIV and Viral Hepatitis To Be Examined This Week at CROI

CROI logoThe 21st Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) Exit Disclaimer takes place this week in Boston. This annual scientific meeting of the world’s leading researchers working to understand, prevent, and treat HIV/AIDS and related infectious diseases provides a vital forum for translating laboratory and clinical research into progress against these diseases. More than 4,000 HIV/AIDS research leaders from 85 countries are assembled to share the latest studies, important developments, and research methods in the ongoing battle against HIV/AIDS and related infectious diseases, including viral hepatitis.

To learn more about the always-evolving science related to HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis, AIDS.gov is attending CROI. As we’ve done in the past, we’ll share highlights from the meeting here on the blog via several video interviews that we’ll post this week and next. (View our posts and video conversations from prior CROIs.)
