USAID - HIV30x30 Promo_launchAs we look ahead to World AIDS Day on December 1, we are reminded of the many milestones we have collectively achieved in combating the HIV and AIDS epidemic. This year is particularly significant for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as it marks our 30-year investment in our HIV and AIDS portfolio. To celebrate, we are showcasing our 30 years of life-changing work and leadership through imagery and quotes on social media, via our #HIV30x30 campaign.

Starting November 1 and leading up to World AIDS Day, USAID’s Global Health Twitter account Exit Disclaimer will post one photo, graphic or quote every day for each of the 30 days to convey the last 30 years of USAID’s work in combatting the epidemic.

We want to ensure that #HIV30x30 Exit Disclaimer represents the many voices and perspectives of our stakeholders and encourage you to contribute! To participate in the #HIV30x30 campaign, send in memorable photos, graphics or quotes that convey some aspect of USAID’s commitment to oha-communications-team@usaid.gov. USAID will be accepting submissions until October 21, 2016 and we’ll select the most poignant 30 to showcase on Twitter through the month of November leading up to December 1. On World AIDS Day, all submissions will be shared via an electronic patchwork quilt. For more information including campaign guidelines, visit here.
